This policy explains, in line with Art. 13 GDPR, which data is processed when you use the barcode generator.
1. Controller
qrcodeerstellung.de, Bitte im Betrieb durch die vollständige Anschrift gemäß § 5 DDG ersetzen, email: [email protected] (see imprint).
2. Barcode generation
The data you enter is sent to our server, rendered into an image and discarded immediately. The content of your barcodes is not stored. For statistics we only keep barcode type, image format, character count and timestamp (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in improving the service). Note that the barcode image URL contains the encoded data as a parameter; sharing that URL shares the data.
3. Server log files
The hosting provider automatically processes IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser type and operating system. Logs serve operational security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
4. Contact form
If you write to us via the contact form, we store name, email address, subject and message in our database to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is deleted once the request is settled and no statutory retention applies.
5. Cookies and consent
Your cookie decision is stored in your browser's local storage as strictly necessary (§ 25(2) TDDDG). Statistics and advertising cookies are only set after your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
6. Google AdSense
With your consent we embed advertising from Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google uses cookies and similar technologies to serve interest-based ads and measure ad performance; your IP address may be transferred to Google servers, including in the USA (based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). See How Google uses data from partner sites and Google's privacy policy. You can opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
8. Fonts and third parties
Fonts are served from our own server; no connection to Google Fonts is made. No third parties other than those listed above are embedded.
