About Code-128

Code 128 is the most versatile linear barcode: it encodes the full ASCII character set (letters, digits, punctuation) at high density with automatic switching between character sets A, B and C. It is the standard in logistics, shipping, warehousing, tickets and patient wristbands and the basis of GS1-128.

Data format

Any ASCII text; the check character is computed automatically. \F inserts FNC1.
