1. Service
The barcode generator provides free tools for creating linear and 2D barcodes as PNG and SVG graphics. Private and commercial use is permitted; no registration is required.
2. Rights to generated barcodes
All barcodes you generate belong to you. You may use, print, reproduce and distribute them without restriction, including commercially. No attribution is required.
3. Responsibility for content
You are responsible for the data encoded in your barcodes. Use is permitted for lawful purposes only. Note in particular that GTIN/EAN numbers, ISBN, PZN and similar identifiers must be obtained from the responsible issuing agencies (GS1, ISBN agency, IFA); this tool only renders the graphic.
4. Warranty and liability
Barcodes are generated to the best of our knowledge according to the relevant standards. We do not warrant correctness, standards compliance, readability with particular scanners or fitness for a particular purpose. Test barcodes before printing large runs. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
5. Availability and fair use of the API
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee it. The barcode image URL may be embedded in websites and applications as long as usage remains fair (guideline: up to 10,000 requests per day). Automated bulk retrieval that impairs the service may be blocked without notice.
6. Changes
We may change these terms and the feature set at any time. German law applies.
