About PPN Code (Pharmacy Product Number)
The PPN (Pharmacy Product Number) by IFA is the German securPharm code: a Data Matrix in Macro 06 format with PPN (9N), lot (1T), expiry (D) and serial (S). The PPN itself is "11" + PZN8 + 2 check characters (Mod 97).
Data format
PPN | expiry (YYMMDD) | lot | serial – separated by "|". The ISO/IEC 15434 envelope is generated automatically.
