The GS1 QR Code starts with FNC1 and carries GS1 element strings. Used for coupons, consumer information and packaging with attribute data read by POS and apps.

GS1 2D Barcodes
GS1 2D codes combine the application identifier data structure – e.g. (01) GTIN, (17) expiry, (10) lot – with the compact Data Matrix and QR Code symbols. They are mandatory in pharma serialisation and the basis of GS1 Digital Link.

What resolution does the GS1 QR Code barcode have?
PNG files are generated with adjustable module width and up to 600 DPI. For print we recommend the lossless SVG vector format which scales without any quality loss.
Is my data stored?
No. The barcode content is only processed to render the image and is not stored. We only count anonymously how often a barcode type is used.
Can I embed GS1 QR Code barcodes in my website or software?
Yes. Every barcode has a stable image URL (see “Embed HTML”) which you can use in websites, label software or spreadsheets.
